I don’t know about you, but an en suite bathroom is the dream. Imagine having your own beautiful bathroom attached to your bedroom. No kids toys scattered around, no mess, just a beautiful adult space. Whether you’re planning on putting in an en suite bathroom or hope that one day you can, I thought I would share a few interior design tips with you. So that should you decide to create an en suite, you have plenty of ideas to help you.

Get inspired

If you’ve been dreaming of having an en suite for years, the chances are that you’ve got a good idea of what you want to create. However, it’s still worth taking the time to find inspiration - you never know you might come across an idea you love but haven’t thought of. The best place for inspiration is, of course, the internet. Google ‘en suite bathrooms’ and browse the beautiful images that come up - there are so many fantastic design ideas out there. Pinterest can also be a great tool, as you can ‘pin’ any ideas that you like and save them to look at later.

Decide how big you want your en suite to be

Once you’ve got some inspiration and an idea of the type of space that you want to create, the next step is to decide how big you want your ensuite to be. Ask yourself how much bedroom space are you happy to give up? You also need to think about the layout that you want, as there are lots of options to consider. While your en suite could be in a separate room to your bedroom, you could also consider a more creative approach. How about creating one big bathroom-bedroom area? Or maybe you could partition the room using glass panels instead of walls?

Think of the practicalities

Next, you need to think about the practicalities of creating an en suite bathroom. These are things like who you will need to hire to create your bathroom for you, for instance. As well as hiring a builder to create your en suite for you, you may also need to hire a plumber and an electrician. If you want heating installed in your bathroom or a boiler, you’ll need to use a specialist company. To find out more about this, check out www.SaveHomeHeat.com and have a browse of the services they offer. You also need to research where the best place is to get any material from is, such as a local place or off of the internet.

Create a design plan

Once you’ve got all the other details sorted, you then need to create a plan. This should include all the details of adding the en suite to your room, from the size it will be to the shades of paint you want to use to decorate. It’s important to have a plan to refer to as this will make it easier to ensure that your en suite design ends up being exactly like you dreamed it would.

Hopefully, the tips and advice in this guide will help you to create a beautiful en suite bathroom. Remember, don’t be afraid to get creative with the space - design an en suite that’s perfect for you.
